Summary Of Duties And Responsibilities:
The incumbent’s main duty is to monitor all work completed by his/her team members and provide them technical supervision and back up. Under the direction of the Principal Architect and the Project Manager, is responsible for the technical quality of the team operational output.

Major Duties And Responsibilities:
1. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that the Company Quality Standards, guidelines and plans are implemented properly, in addition to ensuring that all work assigned to his/her team members is completed properly, and meets the required specifications and standards.
2. He/she is responsible, in coordination with the Principal Architect, for setting the systems design basic concept for all projects.
3. The incumbent should review all time sheets completed by his/her team members on a daily basis and ensure that time charged is accurate. Major Duties And Responsibilities (Continued):
4. He/she should monitor and enhance his/her team members’ productivity. He/she should provide his/her team members’ with the technical assistance, support and guidance required to complete their work.
5. The incumbent is responsible for preparing the technical specifications for his/her team in case that his/her team members do not include a senior team member. In addition he/she is responsible for reviewing the prepared materials cost estimates and quantities by the quantity surveyors.
6. He/she should assist the Principal Architect with the annual performance review and rewards of his/her team members and in assigning jobs to them for development purposes.
7. The incumbent should assist the Principal Architect in evaluating the technical aspects of the bidders’ proposals as per the Project Manager request.
8. He/she should coordinate with other Architectural Team Leaders and other disciplines’ Team Leaders among other groups that are directly related to the project, in addition to coordinating with clients and sub-consultants upon the request of the Project Manager.
9. The incumbent should assist in the preparation of various reports as requested by the Project Manager.
10. He/she should lead the creation and tracking of his/her team plans in coordination with the Project Manager and should identify the inter-plans dependencies.
11. The incumbent should make sure that the approved and acceptable processes, methodologies and tools are clearly defined to his/her team members and are used while performing their jobs.
12. He/she is the catalyst in resolving technical-related problems for his/her team. In addition, he/she should assist the Principal Architect in defining the projects’ technical solutions of the discipline to the clients’ problem.
13. The incumbent may assume the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) in his/her area of expertise and from this regard; he/she should coordinate with the Technical Development Office for quality issues and concerns.
14. He/she is responsible for supporting project tracking meetings and should approve all project documentation that affect his/her team.
15. The incumbent should perform any other mission upon the request of his direct supervisor
