    On 17 November 2006 Dezeen published its first ever story about the Design Museum dropping the Designer of the Year award. That week we also reported on the resignation of Wallpaper editor Jeremy Langmead and the announcement that Jaime Hayon would be one of the speakers at the following year’s Design Indaba conference. Our first image-based story was a new collection of furniture by Ineke Hans, including chairs wrapped in bandages and lamps covered in tape.
