    One year ago Dezeen readers looked ahead to the apocalypse, when an armoured cabin might come in handy, while Frank Gehry unveiled controversial designs for a business school with a crumpled-up facade. We featured a chair made from squashed-up fibre cement and a pair of 3D-printed shoes that one reader called “blister-tastic”.
