Investigate the influence of the virtual world blending with physical architecture. A virtual world, built on the framework of the internet, computers, and mobile technology, exchanges information globally. This creates new ways of interacting with the built world. As the virtual and physical worlds become increasingly interconnected, how does this relationship influence physical architecture and its context? As the virtual world continues to grow at an exponential rate, are we entering a virtual epoch? Investigate the phenomenon of a virtual epoch and its relation to physical architecture. Address issues such as, user interaction, building function, digital programmatic uses, construction techniques, socio-economics and environmental contextualism. With inherent challenges in every physical site, explore possible solutions created by the virtual link. How does this process help solve some of the increasingly complex issues in our world today?
