Kostel Povýšení sv. Kříže je nejstarším českolipským kostelem a byl postaven koncem 14. století českolipskými měšťany v čele s purkmistrem Jindřichem z Vajtmíle a se souhlasem tehdejšího městského faráře rovněž z rodu Vajtmílů a s povolením pána Hynka Berky II. Ze zakládací listiny vyplývá jasně patronát lipských měšťanů nad tímto kostelem.

je v multifunkční objekt v centru města, který navrhl architekt Jiří Suchomel s kolektivem.
Stavba doplňuje a uzavírá zahradu kláštera (dnes Muzeum a galerie) v České Lípě. Budova je zapuštěna do terénního rozdílu mezi zahradou a údolní nivou Ploučnice. Šikmá jižní fasáda s funkcí vzduchového kolektoru sluneční energie, částečné zapuštění do země, dobré tepelně izolační provedení a možnost akumulace tepla v podloží budovy tvoří celkový koncept energetické úspornosti. Projekt a realizace budovy byla rozprostřena do období 15 let, započal v roce 1975, samotné otevření kulturního domu proběhlo v prosinci 1990. Kromě dvou hlavních sálů a foyer obsahuje dům kino, restauraci, baletní sál a galerii „dé ja vue“.

Meliha Archaeological Centre is a visitor centre and exhibition based around the history and archaeology of the areas surrounding the village of Mleiha in Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates. Built around a preserved Umm Al Nar era tomb, the centre details the excavations and discoveries made over the past 40 years at Mleiha and surrounding areas (including Al Thuqeibah, Jebel Faya, Al Madam and Jebel Buhais), particularly the important Faya North East find, which provides evidence that 'anatomically modern humans' were in the Mleiha area between 130,000 and 120,000 years ago. These finds point to the spread of humanity from Africa across the Red Sea to the Persian Gulf region, and onward to populate the world through Iran, India, Europe and Asia.
